This session will bring together early career researchers and community-informed scholars to share insights, experiences, and strategies for advancing meaningful, impact-driven research across sectors.

Meet the Panelists:
Dr. Jennifer Collins is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and a researcher specializing in art-based methods, neurodegenerative disorders, and gerontological health.
Dr. Kharah Ross is an AVA Mid-Career Researcher and Lead of the AVA Online Program and Committee, an Associate Professor of Psychology at Athabasca University, and a health psychologist specializing in maternal-child health and psychoneuroimmunology.
Dr. Ashley Stewart-Tufescu is an AVA Early Career Researcher and Lead of the AVA Triadic Mentorship Program and Community Agency Internship Program and Committee, and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Sarah Yercich is an AVA Early Career Researcher and Host of the AVA Webinar Series, an Instructor and Chair of Women’s and Gender Studies at Capilano University, and Co-Director of the FREDA Centre for Research on Violence Against Women and Children.
