- Train to transform population (community) health and social services, specifically to improve the health of girls and women exposed to ACEs and violence by being a mentee in the AVA Triadic Mentorship Program. Applications required.
- Get paid by AVA to be an intern at your Community Partner Mentor’s agency (from your triadic mentorship) to foster comfort and capacity for Implementation Science via experiential community training experiences in the Community Agency Internship program. These valuable field placement experiences could be connected to, but would not comprise, thesis/ dissertation research. Applications required.
- Train and engage in strategic planning, management, evaluation for health and social service transformation focused on girls and women affected by ACEs, especially violence in AVA’s Strategy Development, Management and Evaluation program.

Community Partner Role Opportunities
- Partner with an AVA Academic Partner in the AVA Triadic Mentorship Program, to mentor the next generation of scholars to undertake community-based research with a focus on gender- and sex-based analysis that is evidence-based, to improve the lives of girls’, women, and gender-diverse people exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and violence, and the social services that provide them services. Applications required.
- Host an AVA-paid intern (likely the scholar from your triadic mentorship) for 10-20 hours/week to take part in a variety of agency programs and services, including supporting service delivery, program innovation, evaluation and other activities relevant to their individualized learning plans, research career goals and agency-defined priorities in the Community Agency Internship program. Applications required.

Academic Role Opportunities
- Partner with an AVA Community Agency Partner in the AVA Triadic Mentorship Program, to mentor the next generation of scholars to undertake community-based research with a focus on gender- and sex-based analysis that is evidence-based, to improve the lives of girls’, women, and gender-diverse people exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and violence, and the social services that provide them services. - Participate/assist in delivery of the various AVA training programs and become future leaders in achieving AVA’s objective through the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Teaching Release Applications required.
- Train and engage in strategic planning, management, evaluation for health and social service transformation focused on girls and women affected by ACEs, especially violence in AVA’s Strategy Development, Management and Evaluation program.
