Project Description
Carissa Melnyk completed her internship with PATHS, where she contributed to the RESPECT study on engaging intimate partner violence survivors as research partners. Her work included conducting a rapid scoping review, supporting focus groups and roundtable discussions, and contributing to the development of a research-based engagement framework.

Project Description
Tomoe Nakagaki completed a summer internship supporting newcomer parents, caregivers, and children through settlement programs, parenting workshops, and emotional support. Through this experience, she gained hands-on community-based practice and strengthened her communication and facilitation skills.
