Through a critical exploration of how cultural paradigms shape knowledge, our outlook on reality and the ways we relate to our knowledge, each other and the world around, Dr. Weasel Head aims to inspire a vision for diversifying our thinking around how assessment in higher education can be imagined and embodied.

About the Speaker

Tsapinaaki, Dr. Gabrielle Weasel Head belongs to the lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy and is a member of Kainawa. An Associate Professor in Indigenous Studies, Dr. Weasel Head’s research focuses on developing ethical spaces of engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning, curriculum development and actively embodies Indigenous research methodologies in a diverse context ranging from resilience studies to professional development revamps.
