In this session, speakers discuss the connection of trauma and the body, and the ways in which somatic/embodiment practices can be integrated into the everyday work of supporting survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). This session also aims to deepen understanding around the systemic and intersectional realities that impact trauma-informed embodiment work. Speakers will share both innovative and practical ways in which these approaches can be further integrated into the work of supporting survivors of GBV.
Webinars are offered in both official languages: English and French. This Webinar will run in English with simultaneous French and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.
