Description
The Strengthening Families Program is a skill development program for children aged 6 – 17 years of age and their families. This program focuses on teaching and reinforcing parenting skills, children’s life skills, and family skills. The overall objective is to promote behaviour change among high-risk families. This 17-week program has been integrated as a service provided by the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration, and has been culturally adapted for Arabic-speaking participants.
