Description
Jewish Family & Child Service offers a range of programs to support individuals and families going through separation and divorce. These services include individual counselling, workshops, and group programs tailored to help adults and children manage the emotional, relational, and practical challenges of family restructuring. The programs focus on minimizing conflict, enhancing communication, and promoting the well-being of children and parents alike. Topics addressed include how to tell children about the separation, co-parenting strategies, managing conflict and communication, dealing with new family dynamics such as stepfamilies, and building personal resilience. Some programs are designed specifically for high-conflict situations, while others are preventive and educational. Sessions are facilitated by trained professionals and offered on a sliding fee scale to ensure accessibility.
