St. Mary’s Home offers Infant and Early Mental Health programs that strengthen parent–child relationships through attachment-based, trauma-informed care.

Description

St. Mary’s Home offers Infant and Early Mental Health programming that focuses on building strong, healthy parent–child relationships through attachment-based, trauma-informed care. The SafeCare in-home program supports families with children under five by promoting safety, health, and positive parent–child interactions, helping to reduce risks of neglect and strengthen early bonds. An Early Literacy Specialist conducts developmental screenings using standardized tools to assess social-emotional and communication skills, then creates personalized plans to support each child’s growth. These plans incorporate early literacy activities and connect families with therapeutic and community resources. The overall goal is to foster secure attachment, early development, and emotional well-being in both children and their young parents.
