Description
The Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa offers adult programming that includes individual counselling and group sessions tailored to support women and gender-diverse individuals involved with the criminal justice system. Individual counselling provides confidential, trauma-informed support addressing mental health, substance use, trauma recovery, anger management, and relapse prevention. Group programs focus on skill-building in areas such as emotion regulation, life after trauma, relapse prevention, theft prevention, and self-compassion. Participation in both individual and group services requires an intake assessment, and all programs are provided free of charge to eligible clients aged 12 and older.
