Here’s how you can complete your AVA Online Training Certificate!
1. Earn your AVA Foundations Badge
The first micro-credential of the AVA Online Training Certificate is AVA Foundations. By completing these core courses in each stream (Adult WGD Violence/Adversity; Child GGD Violence/Adversity; Research Readiness and Implementation; Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility), trainees will be provided with a foundation for AVA Intermediate and AVA Advanced courses. You must complete these four courses to access the AVA Intermediate courses.
2. Earn your AVA Intermediate Badge
The second micro-credential of the AVA Online Training Certificate is AVA Intermediate. By completing these ten intermediate level courses, you will build upon the AVA Foundations courses. The courses at this level are prerequisites to the AVA Advanced courses.
3. Complete 24 AVA Advanced Courses
The final level of courses the trainee will have to complete before moving on to the Capstone Reflection and receiving their AVA Online Training Certificate, is the AVA Advanced courses. These courses build upon what the trainee learned in AVA Foundations and AVA Intermediate. There are a number of courses the trainee can choose from based on their individual learning goals. While there is no requirement to complete all courses, there is a minimum requirement to complete 3 courses in each stream. (Adult WGD Violence/Adversity; Child GGD Violence/Adversity; Research Readiness and Implementation; Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility). 4. Submit your Capstone Reflection
The Capstone Reflection is the trainees last requirement for obtaining their AVA Online Certificate after completing the AVA Foundations, AVA Intermediate, and AVA Advanced courses. Scroll below to learn more about the Capstone Reflection Submission.

Capstone Reflection
The Capstone Reflection is a required to obtain the AVA Online Training Certificate. The purpose of the Capstone Reflection is to give you an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned and mastered through your AVA journey.
