The Mothers Matter Centre recently piloted the Men Like Me Program which empowers newcomer, refugee, and immigrant fathers in Canada to foster healthy mindsets and promote positive masculinities. This initiative encourages them to step up as allies in the effort to prevent and end gender-based violence (GBV). As part of this program, we are hosting 5 webinars throughout the year to address GBV and male allyship.

During this insightful virtual event, community leaders, facilitators, and organizations dedicated to preventing gender-based violence will be sharing their expertise and experiences.
The panel will cover key topics, including:
· Navigating cultural differences to foster inclusive and respectful environments.
· Recruitment and engagement strategies for fathers and male figures to prevent and end GBV.
· Good practices for client retention and creating sustainable, impactful initiatives.
Attendees will leave with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote positive masculinities and become active allies in their communities.
